How much do you charge?

A mentoring session typically lasts one hour and costs £50. Block bookings are also available.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

If you are local, I'm happy to consider in-person sessions. However, the majority of my clients are online.

Do I need to have a finished manuscript?

No. You don't need to have anything written yet. However, you do need to have an idea for your book, including some understanding of what genre you think it will be.

How much do you charge?

Fees vary depending on what type of edit you require/the length of your manuscript. I charge by the hour and my rate is calculated based on my experience and the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading's fees guide. Do I need to have a finished manuscript?

This depends on the level of edit you require. For a developmental edit, your manuscript should have some shape but doesn't need to be complete. For all other edits, your book should be as complete as possible.

Do you work with teenage authors?

Providing I have permission from a parent/guardian (if you are under 18), then yes!
