ABOUT

Hello, I’m Francesca, a book editor, writing mentor and author.

Editor and mentor

I began my freelance career in 2019, working as a copyeditor and copywriter. I soon transformed my passion for language and storytelling into my own editing and mentoring business – the Untold Stories Academy. The academy was born from my desire to help writers at every stage of their careers grow in confidence, strengthen their craft, and unlock their imaginations.

Author

I am also a multi-genre author. My published novels include young adult fantasy series The Elemental Prophesy and standalone literary fiction novel Edge of the Shore. My literary writing is rooted in a love of language, the natural world and explorations of the human experience, while my fantasy novels weave together myth, magic and adventure.

On the personal side…

I live in Salisbury, Wiltshire, with my husband and son.

When I’m not writing – or editing, or reading – I can be found baking, crafting, walking, and spending time with family.
